The pilot episode aired as an episode of Comedy Playhouse on January 4, 1973 and the first full series of episodes premiered on November 12, 1973. The 28th series concluded on September 23, 2007. A 29th series began broadcasting on June 22, 2008 and a 30th series is currently in production
